It is a sleek new road pedal with wide platform for power transfer and the most stable interface available anywhere thanks to VP's patented split cleat which allows change to the front and rear pieces separately.

About the ARC-6 Cleat:
The ARC 6 improves on existing three hole cleats in two major ways.  Firstly, it can be replaced in two peices so that you never lose the position of the cleat on the shoe, and  secondly, it is produced to exacting specifications to eliminamte the slight knock and play that is sometimes noticable during the pedal stroke using other cleat systems.
VP recommends the use of genuine VP cleats, but these are the same shape as Look Keo, if you wanted to use an alternative.
